ABOUT THE SONG:
This song is inspired by Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale”, written as an ode to her and in response to the over-used phrase of “I try not to talk about politics”. It marks the shifting gears between relationship-focused songs to lyrics of more political implications. I find myself getting angrier and angrier with the state of my own country that was once my place of safety and peace.
Music is the way I refuse the silence.
The Strange Feeling music video, directed by Peirce3productions, is out
October 17th.

This is a live EP from my Breaking Sound show at Caffe Nero. It features the songs:
One Day at a Time
Le Soleil et Les Champignons
Spring (Absent-Mindedly, Again)
ABOUT THE EP:
It’s an EP about burnout, and about grind culture. One Day at a Time in particular touches on Berklee culture; how ironic it is to be going into an industry of musicians where everything is unpredictable and about connections, while going to a school so expensive that you’ll never get out of debt. And the song Spring is especially about surviving Boston’s winters, seasonal depression, and trying to rely on friends to get through it all.

ABOUT THE SONG:
Stuck in the Mud is about one of the first times I truly felt what it was like to just not be enough for someone. About doing everything, and just not being the right person. It’s about trying to come back from a breakup that destroys your confidence in yourself, and. being angry at how quickly the other person is okay. I know, gross.
This was the first song that was fully self-written and produced, and I am proud to say I created it entirely in my bedroom in seven straight hours.

ABOUT THE SONG:
This is my Mom song <3. It was recorded in the Berklee dorms during my freshman year. It’s about how she accepted me and supported all of my dreams. And how when I wanted to chicken out and give up on my dreams, she flew to Utah and drove my ass to Berklee. This song is about that road trip. I love my momma.
